We process farm animals and wild game including Deer, Elk, Caribou, Moose, Buffalo, Lamb, Boar, Ram, Wild Turkey, Geese, Ducks.  

Packaging and Cleaning

The animals are cleaned and the fat, talo, and silver skin is removed.  Packaging is in small quantities for special cooking needs if wanted.  All packages are labeled and all game meats are frozen after processing.

Sommers Wild Game processing has been in business since 1992. Wild game was processed downtown at the deli until 2003. In 2003 we built in the Crystal Falls Industrial Park, where we continue to process your wild game today. All Animals are processed individually. Your sausage is made with your meat. It is your meat and only your meat. We know how important it is to you, after you have  trimmed and de- fatted and cleaned your meat to your specifications. That we handle it the same way you would. We Offer a Large Variety of Award Winning Sausages and Smoked Products. Again This year we are accepting deer/bear in conjunction with Wildlife Unlimited of Iron County. This is an effort to feed those less fortunate in our neighborhood. Please think about donating to this worthy cause. All meat is de-boned and ground. It is then distributed through St. Vincent DePaul in both Iron River and Crystal Falls.
